M-Ticket is a new way to receive transport tickets directly to your mobile phone via M-Ticketing Application in the form of Human Readable Format and Barcode format (Linear & Matrix Barcodes) which will be used to authenticate the journey. Mobile ticketing is the process whereby customers can order, pay for, obtain and validate tickets from any location and at any time using mobile phones or other mobile handsets. Mobile tickets reduce the production and distribution costs connected with traditional paper-based ticketing channels and increase customer convenience by providing new and simple ways to purchase tickets. Mobile ticketing is a prime example of horizontal telecommunication convergence.

M-Ticketing technology allows customers to buy, receive and display tickets on their mobile phones. Our app provides them with train or bus times and fare prices, and then delivers the ticket as a barcode, human readable format or Near Field Communication (NFC) within the application. This means customers spend less time queuing up for tickets and more time enjoying their journey. The ticket can be generated with in no time with less process. In this we get the passenger information with linear barcode & 2D barcode, by scanning this barcodes we can identify whether a passenger has travelled on what time. So m-Ticketing makes perfect sense for today's passengers, but it must be built on a strong business case for train or bus operators.

M-ticketing will also updates the vehicle location online, by this feature traveler need not wait at boarding point.
